Sewing Withdrawal

.

I haven't been able to sew for at least a month.  I have family staying with me (on a long temporary basis)  and they have taken over my sewing space.  I like having a permanent space to sew and not have to drag out the machine every time I want to use it.  Plus sewing is my private and relaxing time. No audiences allowed!  I'm gonna have to figure out something.  Maybe try and set up a tiny sewing space in my tiny bedroom.

  1. I know what you mean. I've been trying to get my sewing space situated then life happens, so my sewing space gets placed on the back burner. I have sewed on my dining table, but like you said, I like peace and privacy. I used to sew in my bedroom,--my bed was my cutting table. I may go back to that too. Keep hope alive--sewing is vital to well being.

    1. I pulled some stuff out of the "junk room" to make a space for the sewing machine. Now I have to decide what I want to make.

  2. I guess you could always pick up some knitting (hint...hint). I don't mind knitting and making conversation. Looking forward to your sewing FOs.

  3. I sympathise! Fortunately my family didn't stay that long but it was long enough! It took ages to get things back in place - and I still haven't got my knitting machine up from moving it before Christmas! Hope you manage somehow!

  4. Girl....you have to most certainly figure something out. LOL. But look who is talking? I've been away for a while and is slowly starting to get my mojo back. You just need to implement a do not disturb policy for a couple hours a week and have at it. LOL. I'm sure they will understand.
